The story behind the name
Why
Innovatorius?
A deliberately invented name for a person and practice devoted to creating, developing and realizing innovation.
Innovation. Responsibility. Mastery.
The recognizable root: innovator
The root is intentionally immediate. An innovator creates or introduces something new. Innovatorius begins there — but the name was designed to carry more weight than ideation alone.
A professional identity, not a literal Latin word
When the name was conceived, one reference point was notarius — the Latin term behind the modern word “notary”. It carries the idea of a defined professional role, responsibility and trust. Innovatorius is a founder-created name intended to express a distinct professional identity in innovation.
A classical resonance of mastery
The Latin-like ending also creates a cultural echo of names such as Stradivarius: not as an etymological source, but as an association with individual authorship, mastery, exacting craft and work intended to endure.
What Innovatorius means today
For us, Innovatorius is someone who does more than imagine. The role is to take responsibility for the path from insight and invention to evidence, intellectual property, product, process, technology and commercial realization.
